This is a design I had, that could be a lion, the school mascot, and it might be able to hold things in it.
1. What is 8-bit art and when did it originate?
8-bit art originated with early computers and video game systems in the 1970s and 1980s 2. What are the 3 functions of 8-bit art? 8-bit art is simple and easy for people to create, it inspires nostalgia from NES era systems, and it can make people think more about what they are looking at. 3. Do you think 8-bit art should be considered an art form? Why or why not? 8-bit art is an art form. When 8-bit art first originated, they were the best graphics yet. At this point though, if modern art is considered art, 8-bit art should also be considered art. 4. List any 8-bit video games or art work you have played or seen in popular culture I have seen multiple NES era video games, as well as having played through Shovel Knight and other 8-bit yet modern video games. This is my current design for the Maker Club poster. I still need to add what days it will take place on, and which room it will be in, which I will do once I have this information. I will also ask the current club if there is anything that I should add or change.
A Maker Club, or Maker Space, as I have learnt, is a space for people to make, create, experiment, etc. It is where students, in this case, have the freedom to experiment with their imagination. They might be able to use a 3D printer and experiment with 3D design. They could make posters or art. Anything that can by made should have a place in a Maker Space.
