For my final project, I am choosing option 5, which is my own idea. I am going to create a portrait that is made of little pieces of multiple other faces. I want to do this kind of project because it involves photography, which I am interested in. In my writing portion, I will write about how I created the image, as well as why I wanted to make it.
For this project, I will need: A camera A tripod and Photoshop In the end, it should look something like this, but with smaller chunks, and more people. 1. The first step to create this design was to open Photoshop and create 3 designs using our initials. Then we chose the one we wanted, saved it as a JPEG, and sent it to Ms. Nava. She ran it through an app which made it 3D. We put it into Tinkercad, added the loop for a keychain, and saved it so it is ready to print. We will then print it with the 3D printer.
2. The most challenging part of the project was deciding what design to make. The screenshot directly above is letters with a design inside. It is N and Y with buildings from New York inside.
Basic empty letter shapes were used to make this figure, as well as custom buildings. I would be doing this with one letter inside the other, so it would only include letters. I really like this design because it keeps the letters and shapes together, which is cool. |
