My favorite line from this poem was "Yet, it is only love that sets us free." so I found a picture of flying birds flying in the shape of a heart to represent how love can set you free...flying. I thought emphasizing the words LOVE and FREE would express that better.
1. What does each stanza talk about in Maya Angelou's poem, 'Touched by an Angel'?
Each stanza talks about the different meanings of love 2. What does the phrase, 'coiled in shells' mean? It gives the idea of how one can be lonely without love. 3.Why do you think Maya Angelo wrote this poem? I think she wrote this poem to inform and and discuss the aspects and stages of love. 4. Give your own interpretation of this poem. Use complete sentences. I think this poem shows how love impacts one's life. And that without love, life wouldn't be so full of life and life would be lonely. It also shows that when love comes, your life is taken over. It's a duo descision and a duo life you can't make your own choices, yet love will set you free. Here are some example templates for the yearbook pages. I am going to work on the walkathon pages. My first example is a simple layout template with different sizes for pictures and different background colors. My second example is similiar to the first one except that it has more design to it. I will probably make the background have a subtle design that fits the walkathon theme instead of this one. I will create the pages in photoshop and find special fonts online. Then I will get the pictures from Ms. Nava and insert them into my premade template.
Hi! My name is Lily Burchell and I'm in 8th Grade Media Arts at Nichols Middle School.
So far, in Media Arts my favorite project has been the rotoscoping project in 7th grade. I am the best at working in groups of two because it's more efficient. This year, I want to concentrate on taking pictures. My hope is that I will create great yearbook pages. |
