Swiftris Explanation
I chose to learn how to code an iOS game because it was something I had never done. It was I challenge that I wanted to overcome, sure, I followed ‘Bloc.’ tutorial on how to write the code. It was had due to the fact that the tutorial has many flaws in the sense that in the last build of Apple’s Xcode, 7.2.1, some of the values simply didn't work. I tweaked the colors of the scores and background. Some attempts failed, some worked.
I spent about 48 hours writing the code down, looking at the tutorial, and typing down the characters. In the end, it was frustrating. Then I recalled the reason why I quit Xcode in 6th grade, it was hard, real world work. And a 11 year old, simply doesn't cut it. Now 13, I followed instructions to how to make Swiftris. Personally I’ve done tweaks to the code for it to be more what I wanted. But in the end of the day, Swiftris isn’t that great at all. I haven’t originally made it of my head. I just put it together.
