This week was the first official week of my concentration project. I started by planning out what I am going to need and what I am going to do every day for the next month. I still haven't decided exactly what I am going to do for the yearbook, but I think I just want to get a few REALLY good clips. I have been watching the video yearbooks and getting an idea for what the clips usually look like, but I think that for this years yearbook, there could be more distinct sections rather then just a bunch of clips from recess. I really liked the idea from last years video yearbook where they took most of the people in eight grade and took a shot of them with a index card with an adjective that described them. I think that for my clips I want to focus on something like that instead of ringing the camera out to recess. I haven't decided exactly what I want to do, but I know that it will be something like that. My only worries are that I wont be able to get the people to take it seriously, and I won't get any good clips. But I'm hopeful that I will get clips that people will like to look at and remember Nichols by.
Hi! My name is Caroline Laverick and I'm in 8th grade at Nichols Middle School. In my past three years at Nichols, my favorite project has been the animation in Flash, because it was really fun. I really like working in Photoshop because I am good at it, and I like editing pictures. This year, I want my concentration to be the 8th grade video yearbook. My goal is to get lots of good clips. |
